Però, più di tutti trovo interessante la Grameen Bank, fondata da Muhammad Yunus.

Su la Repubblica di oggi c’è un suo articolo, molto interessante. Sui poveri e sull’imprenditoria diffusa, basata sul microcredito.

Una lettura che consiglierei a tutti (appena trovo il link lo pubblico, nel frattempo metto questo su La Coda Lunga, che a ben vedere c’entra molto…)

Hanno realizzato un programma di microcredito (15/20 USD) per i mendicanti. 100.000 partecipanti hanno avuto 15/20 dollari a testa per convertire il loro girovagare porta a porta accattonando, in una analoga attività commerciale di vendita porta a porta. Simile nella modalità, ma naturalmente molto più dignitosa che mendicare. Di questi, 10.000 sono già diventati imprenditori full time e hanno cessato l’attività di menicanti. Gli altri ci stanno provando.

Rugby world championship 2007

I love watching rugby. It’s amazing and always a great show to look at.

Today, while I’m waiting for the All Blacks/Scotland match to begin, I felt like writing here some of the good things that rugby brings into my heart.

Please consider that I have been very close to this sport, event though I have never played it, because several good friends of mine, since we were in our 20’s, were rugby players with Amatori Rugby Milano and CUS Milano.

Among them I want to highlight: Emanuele Cappelli, Fabrizio Feltri, Andrea Gentili.

The key thing is the set of values that are at the foundations of this sport: discipline, strength, honesty, respect, friendship, amusement.
